After many years of performing paternity testing, WPBTS will be discontinuing this service, effective 30 October 2015.
The closure is due to increasingly prohibitive costs which have resulted in the Paternity Laboratory operating at a substantial loss.
Paternity cases which would have been sent to WPBTS should in future be directed to the PathCare Laboratories who will collect samples and forward these to the Unistel Medical Laboratories (Pty) Ltd, for paternity testing. The PathCare and Unistel contact particulars are as follows:
