During the month of July the Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) wants to appeal to everyone who is eligible to donate blood to step up and become someone’s superhero. Rolling up your sleeve and donating blood will only take 30 minutes of your time but will make a lasting impact on someone’s life.
In light of Mandela Day on 18 July 2019 we would like to appeal to each and every donor to take 30 minutes of their 67 minutes to save three lives. After your first donation you will be able to donate again in 56 days.
“We need everyone in the Western Cape, who are eligible to donate to make the life-changing decision today to become a blood donor and become a superhero for someone else. As a super donor, we will also give you a pair of socks as a token of our appreciation when you make a successful donation,” says Michelle Vermeulen, Corporate Public Relations Officer at WCBS.
