About Capegate Shopping Centre Blood Donation Centre

Our Capegate Shopping Centre Blood Donation Centre was established in December 2021, making it one of our newest Blood Donation Centres. It started as a pop-up blood donation clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic and grew into a thriving permanent venue.

Who Can Donate Blood?

You can become a blood donor if you meet our Basic Donor Criteria:

  • You have to be older than 16 and younger than 75 years.
  • You need to weigh more than 50kg.
  • You must be healthy on the day of donation (no colds or flu).
  • Lead a safe sexual lifestyle.
