About Blue Route Mall Blood Donation Centre

Our Blue Route Mall Blood Donation Centre was established in 2013. It was our second Blood Donation Centre in a shopping mall and gave us a permanent presence in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. It was recently renovated, so make sure to check out our new and improved venue.

Who Can Donate Blood?

You can become a blood donor if you meet our Basic Donor Criteria:

  • You have to be older than 16 and younger than 75 years.
  • You need to weigh more than 50kg.
  • You must be healthy on the day of donation (no colds or flu).
  • Lead a safe sexual lifestyle.
